Detect Fire Suppression Incorporated was started in 2005 in Grande Prairie AB with the intent of providing specialized service to the fire suppression industry. The original focus was on large vehicle systems; mainly logging and mining equipment, but has since grown to include Industrial and commercial applications as well as alarms.
With the majority of our work being performed on site via our Trained Technicians and mobile units, our service area is quite large. Covering northern BC as far west as Prince Rupert at times, northern Alberta going as far south as Calgary as well as some customers into Saskatchewan. Our head office is located in Grande Prairie AB, with four Vallen branches across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
The services we offer is a strong and diversified supply of product lines as well as the design, installation and maintenance of that product. We are currently certified on Ansul, Kidde, Amerex and Affix fire suppression systems; as well kitchen and commercial applications. For Alarms and monitoring systems we are CFAA trained and compliance. Our customer base is varied; from independent loggers, to forestry mills and plants to large scale mining operations.
Our goal is a simple one; to build trusted relationships with our customers by providing quality and knowledgeable service to help them protect their people, investments as well as the environment.
